1. Data controller

The data controller is Data Rei Srl, registered office in Via Torino 55, Catania (CT), Italy — VAT and Tax ID 06282300877, REA CT-486436. For any question about the processing of your personal data you can write to privacy@datarei.it.

Data Rei has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as the conditions under Article 37 of the Regulation do not apply. The address above is the single point of contact for any privacy matter.

2. What data we collect

Data you provide

When you complete the contact form you give us your name, company, work email and, optionally, phone number, system type, need and the free-text description. Please do not enter special category data (Article 9) or confidential information belonging to your own clients in that field.

Data collected automatically

As with any website, the web server records technical logs: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, response status and browser type. These serve to keep the site running and secure, and are kept for as long as needed for that purpose, generally no longer than 6 months, unless retention is required to establish a computer-related offence against the site.

3. Why we process it and on what legal basis

  • To answer enquiries received through the contact form. Legal basis: steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), or legitimate interest in responding to a professional enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To keep the site secure and operational. Legal basis: legitimate interest in network and information security (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To meet legal obligations, where applicable (Art. 6(1)(c)).

We do not use data collected through the form for marketing without separate, specific consent. The site has no newsletter subscription or other form of commercial communication.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries received through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to handle the exchange with you and, absent any further contact, for no more than 24 months from the last exchange. Data relating to any subsequent contractual relationship follows the statutory civil and tax retention terms (generally 10 years). Technical logs are kept as described under point 2.

5. Who it may be shared with

Data may be processed by authorised Data Rei personnel and by suppliers acting as processors under Article 28 of the Regulation, appointed by written agreement: in particular the hosting provider (OVH, with servers in the European Union) and the email service provider on the datarei.it domain. These suppliers operate within the European Economic Area: we do not transfer personal data to third countries.

We may disclose your data to public authorities where required or compelled by law. We do not sell or otherwise share data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data security

We adopt technical and organisational measures appropriate to protect personal data from loss, misuse or unauthorised access, in accordance with the Regulation. In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will act promptly and, where required by law, notify the competent supervisory authority and the individuals affected.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This site is built as static pages and uses no profiling cookies, no third-party cookies and no analytics tools. Fonts are served directly from our own domain: viewing these pages triggers no requests to external servers, and therefore no data is communicated to third parties by that route.

Since there are no cookies requiring consent, the site shows no banner. If analytics, embedded video, maps or third-party widgets are added in future, we will update this notice and put in place a compliant consent banner.

8. Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation).

To exercise these rights write to privacy@datarei.it. We will respond within the timeframes set by the Regulation.

If you believe the processing infringes the Regulation, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

9. Whether providing data is required

Providing the data marked as required in the form is necessary for us to answer your enquiry: without it we cannot reply. The other fields are optional and only help us respond more precisely.

10. Changes to this notice

We reserve the right to update this notice at any time. Any updates are published on this page with a new revision date: we recommend checking it periodically.
